The Cliffs of Moher was just extraordinary, as it floated in a thick cloud of fog we admired this wonderful creation of nature.
Mikey and Annie were visiting Ireland from America for the first time, it was also the first time they had left America, so the pressure was high when they asked me for one place that really represented Ireland. I’m a bit biased when it comes to beautiful spots in Ireland as there are just so many. But when they told me a bit more about them selves and how adventurous and a tad crazy they are, there was really just one place to go. That was for sure The Cliffs of Moher in Clare.
We had hoped for a glorious sunny October day but instead we got the craziest most windy, rainy and foggy day I have ever seen. It was cold, very cold, which made sure that Mikey and Annie were holding each other constantly. They laughed, and played with each other so much that it almost looked like they weren’t cold anymore. People stopped and looked on admiringly at this happy young couple laughing, dancing and twirling with the wind.
Mikey and Annie were not afraid of getting dirty and not for one minute did they want to stop or take a break, and neither did we. We kept on shooting, through crazy winds and rain all while constantly wiping or lens and trying not to fall too hard.
Regardless of the stormy weather, Mikey and Annie were having the time of their lives. From whispering in each other’s ears, giving and counting as many kisses in 30 seconds, to making fart noises on each other’s cheeks, surprising piggy backs and chasing each other, they simply did not stop.
It was almost like Mikey and Annie were competing with the weather, the crazier it got, the crazier they went.
As myself and Danilo were about to call it quits because if it was up to Mikey and Annie we could have stayed there all day. I handed them the questionnaire I had asked them to fill out in secret about what they most love about each other and how they would like to remember their marriage in 20 years time. Sure enough there were laughs, tears and whole lot of love.
